  • Contract Management Module
    This is the core module of the system. Within this module, users are able to manage the contract detail information such as Contract Name, Contract Price, Different Key Dates, Project Coordinator / Manager, Employer Representatives, Consultants, and much more.

  • Milestones Management

  • BQ Module

    This module will handle all the Variatioon Orders along with the Project. The VO cycle from Raising al VO, Site Instruction, Converting into Pre-VO, approval from Client, and thereafter converting into a valid VO. All approval personal is captured and recorded.

  • Reporting Module

Customer R is a multi-national company and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of office equipment and the leading office solution provider. Being a premier manufacturer of office equipment, Customer R would also need to provide an end-to-end service to its customers, and one of them is the after sales services which is the product warranty.


In offering after sales services on product warranty, end consumers that have purchased Customer R’s office equipment, would need to register their product warranty. Current practice for registering product warranty is either done by the reseller via filling up a warranty card and return to Customer R or end consumer fills up the warranty card and mail back to Customer R. After receiving end consumer’s filled up product warranty card, Customer R would need to perform entry to their internal system. The whole process creates several bottleneck and issues in registering the end consumer details:-

  • Delay in returning the warranty card
  • End consumer of reseller did not return the warranty card
  • Warranty card missing
  • Data entry error when re-entering end consumer details into internal details

TEQ Solutions proposed solution to Customer R was an Online Warranty Registration System (OWR). The OWR consist the following features:-

Through the Online Warranty Registration (OWR) System, end consumer (individual or corporate) can easily go online to register their product for warranty eligibility. This reduces the issues involved in manual registration and also cut down the bottleneck in registering and managing the registration of end consumer details for the product warranty. Other than this, data collected from the OWR can be easily accessible by call support personnel in performing support services should end consumers call up the call support center for assistance.

Besides this, the OWR also serves as an avenue where end consumer can also check online regarding the warranty period and eligibility of their purchased product.

The main focus of the INTRANET architecture is to leverage on LAMSOON’s existing system and to have a central collaboration portal for internal usage.

In general the objective of the intranet portal is to:-

  • To construct and custom built an interactive intranet portal; which serve the purpose of a CENTRAL COLLABORATION communication tool.
  • To deliver tools and applications, e.g., collaboration (to facilitate working in groups) or sophisticated corporate directories, sales and customer relationship management tools, project management etc., to advance productivity.
  • To enable corporate culture-change platforms, for example, large numbers of employees discussing a key issues or projects over the internet collaboration tools, which could lead to new ideas in management, productivity, quality and other corporate matters.
  • To prepare the platform for future requirements (integration flexibility, features/functions enhancement) and to ensure the growth of the portal.

Being a premier manufacturer of office equipment, Customer R has a wide network of dealers, resellers and distributors for their product and this will require a massive effort to cater for their daily operations in the product ordering process.


Consolidating and managing the Purchase Order from different dealers, resellers and distributors for Customer R is a tedious process. Moreover, the different formats of Purchase Orders and also the approvals of different dealers, resellers and distributors purchases is based on various checkpoint of categorized approvals, means current manual process is lengthy and prone to errors.

Through the Business-To-Business (B2B) Dealer Portal, the ordering process from Dealers, Resellers & Distributors are merged together, streamlining the process to a single channel. This will ease the sales and finance personnel in processing and approving the PO effectively. Besides this, the pricing structure and promotions package is separate for Dealers, Resellers & Distributors respectively, hence through the system, this pricing is already set and individual Dealers, Resellers & Distributors and create PO instantly referencing the pricing given in the system, without going back and forth with the Sales for pricing confirmation.

The system has also created a checking mechanism to detect credit terms of each individual Dealers, Resellers & Distributors, for approval of the PO. This feature helps the Finance and Sales to better determine the release of purchase items to the PO requestor, which will lead to better control of credit evaluation and minimize credit risk.

The proposed Engineering Drawing Document Control & Design Audit Management System is a web-based system; where users would access the system via a web-browser. Utilizing Microsoft® platform as the basis for development (.NET), the system is designed to run in Windows® operating system; while the running database is Microsoft® SQL Server.

Within the system :-
  1. Allow users to upload their drawing files into the system. Upon uploading, users can put in comments onto their files.

  2. Users can also appointing the next respondent of the files.

  3. There is a built-in workflow. Updated documents are flowing in between different stake holders such as Document Controller, Design Manager, Lead Engineer, Audit Engineer and Design Consultant.

  4. Versioning is applied in the system. Every time user uploads a file, version will be increased automatically by system.

  5. All drawings are to be attach/upload under the umbrella of a Package Category.

  6. Users are able to retrieve all the previous version drawings from the system.

  7. All comments from “Previous Version” of drawings are not allowed to Add, Edit or Remove.
